Purchase Terms

This document is a public offer. It sets out the contract of sale between you and us when you order from this shop. By ticking “I accept the Purchase Terms” at checkout you accept this offer in the version in force at that moment. We store the fact of your consent alongside your order — the date, the time, and the IP address it came from.

The contract is formed under articles 633, 641 and 642 of the Civil Code of Ukraine. Your rights as a consumer are protected by the Ukrainian Consumer Protection Act, and nothing here narrows them. If you are buying from the EU, your local consumer rights apply on top of these terms, not instead of them.

Referred to below as “we”, “us”, “the seller”. You, the buyer, are “you”.

What we sell

Limited-edition photographic prints by Myroslava Chepchurenko, along with the other printed and related goods listed in the shop. Every print is described on its own page: title, format, size, materials and price. Where an edition is limited, or a work is signed and numbered, the product page says so.

A photograph on a screen and a printed work are not the same object. Colour, brightness and contrast depend on your monitor, and paper has its own texture and depth. Slight differences in tone from what you saw on the site are a natural property of printing, not a defect.

Price and currency

Prices in the shop are shown in euro. Payment, however, is taken in Ukrainian hryvnia: when you go to pay, the total is converted at the National Bank of Ukraine's rate for that day, and it is that hryvnia amount which is charged to your card.

If your card is not in hryvnia, your own bank converts that amount again at its own rate. We have no influence over this, and the final figure in your card's currency may differ slightly from the price you saw on the site.

The price shown on the product page and in the cart is the final price of the work. The seller's tax status is stated in the Seller section above. Delivery is not included in that figure — see the next section.

For orders shipped outside Ukraine, any customs duties, import VAT and other charges raised by the destination country are paid by the recipient. We can neither calculate them in advance nor influence them.

The price of your order is fixed when you place it. If we change a product's price afterwards, it does not affect an order already placed.

How the contract is formed

1. You add works to the cart and go to checkout.
2. You give your name, email, phone and delivery method, and accept these Terms, the Return Policy and the Privacy Policy.
3. We create an order with the status “Pending payment” and open its page straight away — that is where you go on to pay.
4. You pay. The contract is formed at the moment the bank confirms the payment — not before.
5. The status changes to “Confirmed”, and we email you the works ordered, the total, and a personal link to your order.

So filling a cart, and even placing an order, commits you to nothing: until payment is confirmed there is no contract. An unpaid order simply stays unpaid — we do not invoice it or chase you for payment.

The email with the link to your order arrives after payment. If you closed the page before finishing, just write to us — we will send you the link so you can pay for that same order rather than placing it again.

We do not create buyer accounts. Access to your order is through the personal link in your email, so keep it.

Payment

Payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through plata by mono (Universal Bank JSC). You are taken to the bank's payment page and enter your card details there.

We never see or store your card number, expiry date or CVV. Those details never reach our site at all. From the bank we receive only a payment identifier and its status, and every such message is verified against the bank's cryptographic signature before we accept it.

Your order moves to “Confirmed” automatically as soon as the bank confirms the payment. If money left your account but the status has not changed within an hour, write to us — that means a fault on our side, and we will fix it by hand.

Delivery

Within Ukraine we ship with Nova Poshta — to a branch, to a parcel locker, or by courier to your address. Outside Ukraine we ship to the address you give us.

Delivery is not included in the price and is not charged during payment on the site. You pay the carrier when you collect the parcel, at the carrier's own rate. An indicative figure is shown at checkout.

As soon as we ship, the tracking number appears on your order page — reachable through the personal link in your confirmation email. For Nova Poshta the number links straight to tracking. If you would rather not watch the page, write to us and we will send you the number when the parcel leaves.

Delivery times are set by the carrier, not by us. Any timeframe we quote is an estimate. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, by customs, or by circumstances outside our control — but we will always help you chase a parcel, and if one is lost we will resolve it with you.

Risk and title

Risk of accidental damage or loss passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, take the parcel from the carrier. Title to the work passes to you on full payment.

Inspect the parcel on collection, before you sign for it. If the packaging is damaged, open it in front of the carrier's representative and have the damage recorded in a report. That is the simplest route to compensation; the Return Policy explains what happens next.

Faulty goods

If a work arrives with a printing defect, damaged, or not matching what you ordered, you have the rights given by article 8 of the Ukrainian Consumer Protection Act: replacement, repair, or a refund. The choice is yours.

Write to the email in the Seller section with your order number and photographs of the problem. We will reply, and where the fault is confirmed we pay the return shipping ourselves.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason — a right granted by article 13 of the Ukrainian Consumer Protection Act for contracts concluded at a distance. The conditions, the procedure and the refund timing are in the Return Policy, which forms part of this contract.

Cancellation by us

In rare cases we may cancel an order you have already paid for: if the work turns out not to be available, if there was an obvious pricing error, or if there is a well-founded suspicion of fraud. In every such case we refund the full amount and explain why. There are no other consequences for you.

What you get with the work

Buying a print makes you the owner of that physical copy. Copyright in the photograph itself stays with the author and is not transferred.

You are free to hang the work at home or in an office, to show it, to give it away, or to resell that copy. You may not reproduce it, reprint it, scan it, use it in commercial or promotional material, or supply the image for training artificial-intelligence systems. The Copyright page has the detail.

Liability

We are responsible for the work matching its description and arriving undamaged. We are not responsible for consequences beyond the order itself — and in no case is our liability limited further than Ukrainian consumer law allows.

We are a small studio in Ukraine. Air raids, power cuts and postal disruption happen. If any of that delays your order we will tell you, and offer you the choice of waiting or taking a refund.

Disputes

Write to us first — one email settles the great majority of questions. If we cannot agree, the dispute is governed by the law of Ukraine. That does not remove your right to approach the consumer-protection body where you live if you are in another country.

Changes to these terms

We may update this document. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it — the version number and date are at the top of this page. Changes never apply retroactively.
