What is allowed without separate permission

• Viewing the public portfolio in your browser.
• Sharing the public URL of a page on social media so that the link points back to this site.
• Quoting the title of a work with credit (Myroslava Chepchurenko / femmesenses) in an editorial context — a small excerpt, not the main material of a piece.

What is not allowed

• Downloading, copying, screenshotting, or screen-recording any photograph beyond personal in-browser viewing.
• Re-publishing images on other sites, social networks, or marketplaces — even with credit.
• Removing or cropping out watermarks, EXIF metadata, or any other identifier.
• Any commercial use (advertising, design assets, printed merchandise) without a written licence.

AI / ML training prohibition

Using any image from this site to train, fine-tune, distil, or build embedding vectors for machine-learning or generative-AI models is prohibited without prior written permission. By default, that permission is NOT granted. This covers commercial AND research / non-commercial systems. Our robots.txt and site meta tags signal this prohibition to AI crawlers; ignoring those signals is a copyright violation.

Buyers of prints

When you buy a print, you receive a licence to display the physical object in a private setting (your home, your office). Copyright is not transferred. Photographing the print and re-publishing it on social media is acceptable only as an incidental view of your interior — not as a stand-alone reproduction of the photograph. Commercial display (a gallery, a hotel, a restaurant) requires a separate licence.

Private gallery clients

• Personal use (your own album, prints for home, sharing with family) is allowed.
• Social-media publishing is allowed with mandatory credit to @femme.senses and without cropping, recolouring, filtering, or any other edit of the photograph.
• Commercial use (advertising, sale, corporate content) requires a separate written agreement.
• Your private-gallery link is personal, non-transferable, and can be revoked at any time.

Watermarks and tracing

Some images carry invisible or subtle markers that allow the source of a leaked copy to be traced. Removing such markers is treated as a sign of intentional infringement.

Detection and enforcement

We monitor for unauthorised use with reverse-image search and automated tools. When we find a violation we send a takedown request, and where it is justified we escalate through the legal channels available in the country of the infringer. Licensing for commercial use

To licence an image for editorial publication, advertising, a cover, an exhibition, or any other professional purpose — email us with the project brief (print run, term, geography, budget) at the address on the Contacts page. Price and terms depend on the use.
